Davido, the Nigerian superstar, made history as the first African artiste to perform at the 50th Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Awards in England on Tuesday night. The event, which celebrates the achievements of the best players in English football, was held at the Lowry Theatre in Manchester and attended by some of the biggest names in the sport.
Davido, who is known for his hit songs like ‘Fall’, ‘If’, and ‘Fem’, took the stage in a stylish ash-colored sweatshirt and delivered an electrifying performance that got the audience on their feet. He sang some of his popular tunes and also paid tribute to his late friend and associate, Obama DMW, who passed away in June.
The Afrobeats sensation, who had earlier performed at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, expressed his excitement and gratitude for being part of the prestigious event.
